MOMENTS THAT GOES UNNOTICED
If you ask what my style is, I would say that I haven't named it because of my storytelling which is considered candid. I do a mix of posed and natural photos. I don't follow any rules but I will make sure that the images I deliver will be close to your heart.
I love documenting human connection, emotions and beauty in light and composition.
Usually I have all hands on me, no rules followed for wedding photography.. until it comes to family + couple portraits.
MY PROCESS
During the day, I quietly approach and catch pictures of your day as it is, what it feels like.
Based on your pretences I can be all hands in, giving you guidance or all hands out, allowing the day unfold naturally or mix of both. We will discuss this over our meeting through call or face to face.
This process mostly comes between you and me - working together to create beautiful images that will tell the story of your day.
After documenting your wedding day, I’ll take your photos home and lovingly curate a beautiful story. You might notice that I’ve uploaded many black and white photos (I have a deep love for their timeless feel), but rest assured—your full gallery will only contain about 30% black and white images. Your images will be different from others, a new movie scene

I will take your images home, and create a story for you, a retelling of your day, The images you receive will provide an emotional narrative of how I perceived and felt your day, and 10, 20 maybe even 30 years from now, this narrative will be the memory of your day.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you based? And what languages do you speak?
Helsinki, Finland, but nowadays it's so easy to travel anywhere!
I speak Estonian (native), English and Finnish.
Do you travel / photograph internationally?
Yes, I do travel from Helsinki to any city, any county. So far I've been photographed weddings in Estonia, Italy and Australia.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings?
Yes, love is love <3
Is it possible to have a payment plan?
Yes, we can organise and split your payments into four instalments. Just let me know if this would suit you.
How many photos do we receive?
You'll receive between 200-800 photos, depending on how many hours we shoot and how jam-packed your wedding day is!
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
It will take between 3-8 weeks to receive your final wedding photos. I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it'll take me a little bit more time to deliver your images. If you'd like your photos sooner, please ask me about the rush fee.
Is a second shooter mandatory?
If I could have the ability to clone myself then no :p But.. Depending on your guests count. I do recommend to have a second shooter if you have 100 or more guests, and your getting ready is in a different locations.
Second shooter will help me to capture not just the key moments but also those candid, spontaneous interactions that truly tell the story of your day.
This extra coverage allows us to document more reactions, meaningful glances, and intricate details, making sure we capture as much of the essence of your celebration as possible.
Can we customise our photography package?
Of course. Every wedding is unique, and I believe your photography package should reflect that. If my existing packages don’t fit your needs, we’ll work together to design one that does.
How do you balance being professional and personable?
I believe that being professional doesn’t mean being distant. I’m all about creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourselves. I handle the details with care, but I also want you to feel like you’re working with a friend who genuinely cares about your wedding day.
How does the booking work?
Send me a message here or email me gerdakoort@gmail.com with all the details. I will then send you a full price guide and when you've decided which package to go and we’re a good fit, a signed contract and a retainer of 30% will secure your date. The remaining balance isn't due until a month prior to your wedding or right after the wedding day. We’ll then set up a time to dive into the details and ensure everything is in place for your big day.

Do you send out sneak peek photos after our day?
I know it's super popular to send out sneak peeks, but personally, I don't usually do that. I want to give you photos that are thoughtful and not rushed. That said, you're more than welcome to request a few sneak peeks—some of my couples do! If so, I’ll be happy to send them out within 2 to 5 days after your wedding.
